Slovakian cassette label, Z Tapes, put together this summer compilation as a benefit album donating half of the sales to a Slovakian organization to displaced people who have lost their homes. The other half of the proceeds went towards an organization to help those with mental health issues.
Summer 2017 is filled with lite-hearted poppy indie tunes, pop-synth Beck-style enlightenment, and a couple of covers to help you enjoy the summer season and beyond. Personal favorites would be the dreamy, breezy, sun-bleached sounds of Lord Bendtner “It’s Been Ages”, an It Is Rain In My Face cover.
