Rap Vacation label out of Los Angeles offers up a One Two punch with this double cassette. Cassette one is “The Lost Tape” by didaflo?. It has a continuous flow like a mixtape with droning lofi hip hop beats and warped out samples. The vibe continues on Darktwaine’s “Never Did We Not Exist” tape. Starting off with some tribalism and sample based flows. Setting the tone for some healing and easy listening. Never Did We Not Exist isn’t as continuous as The Lost Tape, but it is just as effective.
