Sonic D is no stranger to underground electronic music. From his days hosting “Lyquifyed Beats” at KUCR to being one of the forefathers of Juke in Los Angeles with Juke Bounce Werk, he managed to pump out a haunting minimal ambient masterpiece. These tracks were recorded 2002 through 2012. Empty spaces come to life and take form throughout this cassette creating minimalistic sound scapes and structures making you a part of the spaces. In many ways, this release is an homage to the days or yore in electronic music. Sonic D’s version of “Selected Ambient Works”. Even the art is inspired by late 90s design aesthetic of “the Designers Republic” work on Warp 10.
