
One look at the artwork and I knew this would be something I’d be into. I’m a sucker for minimal design and I knew that the music therein would match the concept. And I wasn’t wrong. Karl Fousek is known for technical and minimalist sound. As displayed on “Two Pieces for a Temporary Connection”, it is simplistic and yet complex at once. Melodies hover over bubbling and swirling electronics. This project was an actual live improvisation recorded in Boston and Worcester, MA.
