Downscope has been quite a bit of experience musically. From his early synthpop/industrial days on to his dub techno excursions, he has taken quite a bit of paths along the way. “Paths To Eternity” is inspired by one of his treks in a Japanese forest filled with bamboo trees and wooden stairways. Fushimi-ku Mountain in Kyoto. The result is a wonderful fusion of Dub Techno, IDM and ambient. This album may sound technological, but it is very organic in nature.
