Paul Wilbury’s latest album ‘Jazz Shit & Real Book Vol. 2′ is out now on Aviary Bridge. Cassette also contains vol. 1. “Jazz Sh*t & Real Book Vol.1&2” began as a way for Wilbury to develop his beat-making techniques while working with standard jazz structures. His approach towards using a sampler is similar to that of artists such as Knxwledge and MNDSGN and by combining Hip-Hop and Jazz, Wilbury has created a mixture of sounds and textures, which are seldom found in Jazz alone.
