Overwhelm_ed latest release ‘It’s Getting Late’ has rich and beautiful ambient soundscapes created through the album utilize the two sided medium of the tape to its advantage, creating two different tones with each side of the record. The A side being a stacking beautiful piece created using minimal tones that layer the creating a rich landscape. The B side paints a darker portrait however by utilizing various spoken word and vocal samples, lofi and noise oriented atmospheres, and off-kilter rhythmic structures. Out now on Banana Tapes.
