Body Improvement Calendar (BIC) self-hijacked an Instagram account, filling it with self-help bots, transformational mind, soul and body improvement “friends” and follows. The endless motivational speeches which spill out of this account become the constructive sound pallette for this album of fractured dub, hip-hop, martial tape music and wonky spoken word.

BIC is a new project from German Army and the musical feel between the two projects is connected through a mid-fi harness of hand drumming, rotten synths and a queasy vibe of repitched samples. One to fall into and leave refreshed, re-toned and motivated for a better you, a better today… tomorrow. Their latest album Business Major is out now on Opal Tapes.
