Akira Sileas’s latest album ‘triangle2’ is a collection of sound works using a generative synthesis algorithm developed in the graphical programming language Pure Data. The algorithm processes triangle oscillators using geometric mathematics to produce complex timbres. Whilst triangle1 was imagined as a soundscape to describe a vast sea, triangle2 places these sounds in dark underground chambers and tombs. Out now on Standard Tapes.
