‘Volume 3 of Frequency Response’ finds us in familiar territory once again as “The Mayor” himself, Kip Killagain, clocks in for work. Don’t be surprised though if it feels more like play. Side A is an off-the-cuff mix that took place during .smallz.’s Birthday Party in 2018. With an ease and simplicity only Kip could pull off, this throwback soundtrack was crafted over a few glasses in a cloud-filled room. Fast forward to 2020, Side B finds the Kingz Of The Jungle maestro in a COVID-19, pandemic-driven, quarantined throwdown. Originally crafted for a live streaming session that experienced technical difficulties, Kip was able to resurrect the set and add a little extra flavor for the DnB/Jungle B-Side of FRV3. Put on your good shoes and set up some mirrors, because this mix will have you grooving with or without guests. As always, recorded directly from two turntables and a mixer. Grit and grime included.
