On “Worms Dine Tonight” Bay Area’s Paavo and Detroit native Chef Mike add five new tracks to their previous EP “No Toys”. Paavo’s unique brand of booth poetry and Mike’s left-of-center production aesthetic are an exciting departure from the current landscape of hip-hop and rap. From the opening lyrics on the first track “Large amounts” Paavo’s complex wordplay, sly, cool cat jabs and periodic shock lines carry the project through hard-hitting to fever-dream-like production.
