This is the Pig. The 8th installment of the Koreatown Oddity’s Chinese New Year Instrumental Series. Each tape respresents one of the 12 animals on the Chinese Zodiac Calender. All music on each tape is inspired by the energies felt throughout that animals’ year as we leave it into the next. The series began in 2012 with the dragon and will end in 2024 when we arrive at the dragon again. None of the tapes will be repressed until 2024. Out now on Strictly Cassette.
