DUB EXORCISM is the first release for Leather Parisi on Solium Records and first solo EP on Asbestos Digit. This EP has been written after the Covid pandemic, inspired by the fact that nothing has really changed, and things are getting even worse. Tons of good intentions but with the end of the emergency, everyone is back to his own business to continue his empty existence prevailing over the others.
DUB EXORCISM is a liturgy for mankind’s failure, celebrated throughout the industrial-harsh-noise-dub spell. With a heavy, constant and repetitive cadence for a doom ritual that erases any possible hope. This scenario perfectly aligns with the Solium state of mind as well as the Asbestos digit avant-garde / electronic spirit.
The album was mastered by Riccardo “Rico” Gamondi (Uochi Toki, Light Item) who focused on giving its full expressive power to the album.
