Happy Body – Happy Body

Happy Body is based out of Philadelphia. Happy Body began as a bedroom punk solo project of Ava Rose in 2022, and has since evolved into a three piece with April Russell on drums, and Alex Stolte on bass.

Happy Body’s self-titled EP was written and recorded over the course of a year, and performed by Rose with the help of her sibling, Drake Elliott (Glaas, Nylon Club) on bass, the release’s bass and drums were recorded onto tape by Patricia Quigley of Philly heartthrobs Kinetic Orbital Strike and Delco MFs in the basement of Foto Club. April Russell recorded guitar and vocals, as well as mixed and mastered the record in her bedroom in South Philly. The tape is out on Spared Flesh Records.
