Fogwood is an Austin-based electronic trio. Using an array of synths, keyboards, guitars, and other instruments, they create sonic journeys ranging from improvised atmospheric soundscapes to cinematic compositions and upbeat sequences. Their sound is an exploration of mysteries and the unknown.
‘Inner Chambers’ is a sonic exploration of the mythology of deserted spaces. It was recorded in 2023 after a period of intensive improvisations. Made entirely with analog synths as well as guitars, it is an ode to German groups who pioneered the electronic sound as well as old sci-fi soundtracks. The music aims to bridge gaps between myth and present, nature and machine. Out now on Aural Canyon.
