Katia Krow is a drone and ambient project of Emirati musician Odi Suood. Drawing inspiration from the vast and varied landscapes of the UAE, Suood creates music that’s enigmatically alluring while evoking a sense of vastness and uncertainty, blending elements of electro-acoustic and classical music with experimental electronic soundscapes and noisy field recordings.
“Whispers from the Bloc Obscure” is his ninth release under the artist name Katia Krow and his first cassette release under Analog Amigo Records.
