In Shinto doctrine, the ‘Torii’ represents a passage that symbolically leads to a sacred place. And it is precisely the concept of passage that holds the whole plot of the project together: the torii, in this context, is a sort of dimensional portal that leads from the material sphere to the spiritual one, from the places of the world to the non-places of the spirit, from the tangible of reality to the ineffable of the human soul.
Dreamy atmospheres, abstract lyrics and surreal images accompany the listener on a dreamlike journey in which the emotional dimension acquires shape and color and becomes tangible.
