Nature doesn’t reward understanding and neither does Swisher. There’s “psychedelic” like a backward guitar solo or vocals through a flanger pedal, and then there’s “psychedelic” like ‘Total Rat Fink’, the kind where you didn’t really feel anything for the first hour so you took a little more, then a little more, then it was way too late. No way back deep fry with despicable riffing and waves of live processing perpetually shredding both the mix and reality. The initial buildup suddenly drops you off by a peaceful reflecting pool at the top of the mountain, but you have to realize there’s only one way to get back down. Out now on Unifactor.
