‘LOWMOON’ is the dreamy lofi indie project of Yorkshire based musician/producer Mikey Wilson. Channelling new wave, post-punk, dreampop and shoegaze references LOWMOON exists within its own unique sound. Blending jangly guitars and synths with vintage drum machines and reverb drenched vocals.
Embracing a DIY ethos Mikey writes, records and mixes the music in his bedroom studio. Preferring the tactile experience of using outboard equipment over software, his growing collection of 80’s pawn-shop drum machines and keyboards impart lofi nostalgic textures into the productions.
