Cold Comfort is the brainchild of North-West musician Ben Forrester. Having spent several years getting stuck into the UK DIY scene, Ben began making music as this current guise in his Bedroom in the summer of 2021. Since then, Cold Comfort has released three albums, a truck load of single and EP releases as well as playing live across the country with just a microphone and a laptop.
Consumed by everyday anxieties, Cold Comfort’s latest album ‘Capital’, see’s Ben move back into the trashy punk beginnings of the project. Having spent time last year leaning towards the more electronic side of alt rock, ‘Capital’ is a cathartic outlet of rage, love and creativity inspired by classic hardcore and modern-day noise rock.
