The second album by WAVE555 (Adam Kaliszewski, Kacper Krzemiński) is another improvised drone trip – this time practically devoid of rhythmic elements and melodies. The performers focused on exploring the sound that comes from nowhere and disappears into nothingness, flowing as an almost shapeless form of sonic meditation divided into two twenty-minute sessions, ranging from delicate drone waves to the offensive heavyweight moments. When recording the new material, the musicians used, among others, self-designed synthesizers and drone boxes, prepared electric guitar and e-bow, as well as more traditional electronic instruments and percussion drowning in the sea of reverberations. The April live session was recorded with just the necessary, basic processing and mastering. Out now on Antenna Non Grata.
