Ghost is a newly formed Drone-Ambient/Cut-Up unit by Sou Inomoto of scum, a project born in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recorded entirely at home between 2020 and 2025, these tracks are not just compositions but sonic studies: raw sketches of emotion, memory, and time. Departing from the violent fragmentation of scum’s cut-up harsh noise, Ghost embraces a slower descent into stillness, decay, and dissonance. It navigates a shifting time axis, drifting between past, present, and future, where sound becomes a vessel for unresolved grief, introspection, and negative space. Out now on Gerpfast Records.
