As the third and final instalment of the CAPStone trilogy, ‘ITO’ encompasses aspects of both of its predecessors (S.T.A.R.V.E. and Houses), by juxtaposing elements of S.T.A.R.V.E.’s thematic abstraction with the temporally linear narrative of Houses.
Maintaining the core characteristics of a traditional rap album, ITO can be read as a ‘key’ of sorts, acting as the conceptual thread that links together each piece of the trilogy. As such, ITO can be listened to as an introduction to the trilogy and/or as a conclusion. Out now on Plague.
