Expect the familiar lo-fi 90s Memphis-inspired beats: raw, gritty, and hypnotic, with distorted flows, haunting hooks, and the recurring horror and occult imagery that define his universe.
While the previous tape Saatanallista Saundia leaned toward blasphemous provocation, Lopulta Kaikki Pimenee dives further into existential darkness. Tracks like “Syvemmälle Pimeyteen” (“Deeper into the Darkness”), “Hämärtyy Tajunta” (“Blurring Consciousness”), and the desolate title track channel a sense of helplessness as humanity collapses into its own void.
Meanwhile, “Vampira,” “Länsi-Tuira Itä-Tuira pt. 2,” and “Pimiäsä pt. 2” embrace the classic comic-book-meets-horror-movie spirit — think Venom and Bathory in the same room with DJ Paul and Lord Infamous.
Each Likane release digs deeper and darker, mirroring the world’s own decay. But on the bright side — there’s still light in the studio, and Likane’s not done yet. Out now on Solium.
