‘Sufiq’ is one of Muslimgauze’s standout posthumous releases. Released by Soleilmoon Recordings, it is generally dated to 2000. Re-released in 2026 by Darkroom Records, Sufiq is often considered one of the best works of his later period. The album features a distinctive blend of intense hand-drum percussion with a deep, mysterious, and hypnotic ambient feel. It has often been described as “sounding like a rhythmic meditation” and is considered more accessible than some of Jones’s harsher, pure noise work. The album contains several short to medium-length tracks that incorporate vocal samples, tabla percussion, bass drums, and synths. will be repackaged in an updated version by us. Don’t miss it because it is very limited and we don’t like repetition.
