Élément Kuuda is the solo project of Montréal-based artist Christian Richer, launched in 1999 in his hometown of Hull, Québec. Created with a blend of DIY modules and synths, his music draws on the language of ambient and science fiction, presenting sonic worlds that oscillate between luminosity and coldness. He has released several albums independently and on indie labels, and performed at festivals and venues across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Out now on isohyet.
