Rev. Nikmo (Nick Harris) was one of the founding members of Pound Land, alongside Adam Stone, launching the project in 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Prior to this, he was the bass and rhythm guitarist for the neo-psych band Dead Sea Apes. After leaving the band, he stepped away from making music for three years, apart from the occasional modular open-mic set with Mister Ben.
The material on this album spans 2020–2025 and was written alongside his work with Pound Land. Tracks 1–9 feature a mix of techno, electronica, dub, ambient, and trip-hop. These pieces were composed on an iPhone, often created through improvised sessions where he would layer and jam with his own recordings.
Tracks 10–17 bring together two collaborative projects with Hannah Grass-Kamp and Adam Danquah. The collection moves from the electronica-infused singer-songwriter sound of Hannah D’Ark to the dub-influenced music of The_Turings. Out now on Cruel Nature Records.
