Sounds come and go in an instant, yet there’s a sense of suspended time slowly unraveling. Stuttering rhythms dance across the stereo field on scorched foundations, each texture clear and humming. Like the fingerprints on the impressionistic cover art, the music on Haxa is imbued with human touch while never revealing its hand. Out now on Variable Recordings.
