toulup was a short lived band from Cologne in ca.1999/2000, which ermerged from the ashes of KitKoma. This release was recorded back then and never saw the light of the world properly – until now.
toulup played a distinctive style of instrumental Post Rock, very lively, playful and with a pinch of jazzy vibes here or there. This kind of music is heard rarely nowadays. The live recording itself really withstood the test of time, but with a little bit of modern help though. It sounds clear, differentiated and precise. Out now on Mörtel Sounds.
