‘DOOMDEATHAPOCALYPSE’ is a 12-track tape created by SKOTT 3REE, with every element crafted in-house from production, mixing, and mastering to the writing and performance itself.
Originally created in 2023, the project explores themes of end times, drawing influence from SKOTT 3REE’s favourite films, video games, and the isolated world he found himself immersed in. In the aftermath of COVID and against the backdrop of ongoing global conflict, the tape reflects a shared realisation: how quickly everything can change, how fragile normal life really is.
Despite its heavy themes, the project stays true to SKOTT 3REE’s signature style: tongue-in-cheek, self-aware, and full of personality. Across the 12 tracks, he balances darker subject matter with moments of energy, humour, and lighter sounds, showcasing his full artistic range.
Although completed in 2023, DOOMDEATHAPOCALYPSE is only now being released in 2026. The project was initially shelved, as SKOTT 3REE felt it no longer aligned with where he was creatively at the time. Revisiting it years later, he reworked and refined the tape: injecting new life into the tracks using the skills and perspective he’s developed since.
The result is a project that bridges two versions of the artist: a snapshot of the past, rebuilt with the precision of the present.
At its core, the project stands as an abstract autobiography: a collage of past and present experiences, layered with reflections on the direction of humanity.
