Kloothommel is an indie-rock band from Charleroi, Belgium. They started out in 2018 with their debut album “Kernkabinet”, an oddball lo-fi collection of soft summer jams and total mental freak-outs. They followed it up with their climate change hit: “Summer Melts” and two albums: “Seas Near Over” & “Portonovo”, both albums heavily inspired by traveling and featuring their classic bland of Pavement & Steely Dan. After a hiatus -because when life hits you, it hits you hard- they return with a new album:”Wits In The Big Wide”. Their past lo-fi shenanigans have given way to hi-fi metaphysics, grief, collage techniques & cut-ups, and a sound of the American Midwest run through a European continental weirdo grinder. Out now on Hidden Bay Records.
