Wayne Adams is a UK music producer, engineer, and self-confessed synth nerd, best known for his work with industrial noise duo Petbrick and live breakcore outfit Big Lad. As co-founder of Petbrick alongside former Sepultura drummer Iggor Cavalera, Adams has helped forge a crushing sound that fuses industrial music, noise, electronics, hardcore, and thrash metal.
Now returning with his second solo EP, Absorb, following 2025’s Survival EP, Adams explores a different side of his musical DNA. Released via Wrong Speed Records, Absorb draws on his long-standing love of breakcore, IDM, and acid techno, channeling influences from artists such as Aphex Twin and Squarepusher while embracing contemporary electronic composers such as Max Cooper, Rival Consoles, and Jon Hopkins.
Whether creating devastating industrial soundscapes with Petbrick, unleashing high-voltage electronic chaos with Big Lad, or shaping records for a new generation of underground artists at Bear Bites Horse Studio, Wayne Adams continues to push sonic boundaries. Rooted in the DIY spirit and dancefloor energy of the now legendary Wrong Music scene, his music remains as hecktic as it was back in those giddy days with a touch of refined brutality.
