The title of this album is not a word, but a visual koan: six consecutive underscores (______) aka: 六砍之無 (Liù Kǎn zhī Wú) aka “VACIO” = Emptiness，representing the six strings of an electric guitar, depicted as a void.
Each underscore is a gash (砍 – Kǎn) into the reality of the instrument. This work of electric improvisation is a response to an absence that transcends words; a ‘metaphysical violence’ where the sound of the guitar becomes the sound of non-existence (無 – Wú). It is not music about emptiness, but the sound of the gash itself: the electric vibration of a wound that cannot be closed.
