rooted in the presence of cicadas just before their calls emerge.
Thunder recorded both indoors and outdoors in the height of midsummer is electronically transformed, bending the quiet layer as if the air itself were subtly re-shaped.
The cicada presence is likewise processed, rendered into tones resembling electronic signals, forming a boundary where organic sound and modulation gently overlap.
Distant fireworks and rainfall, each touching the atmosphere in separate moments, leave delicate shifts within the season’s dense humidity.
